Lubliniacy in Ribnitz – Germany

From 25th to 31st July the “Lubliniacy” group participated in the International Festival “Grand Prix de Folklore” in Ribnitz, Germany. Daily concerts were interwoven with meetings and talks with other ensembles from: Lithuania, Hungary, Ukraine, Kenya, Basque Country and Germany. In the music competition a youth orchestra was presented, which played three songs in the church at Am Markt: “Oj chmielu,” a German song for the folk band, and a song “Through Europe through the ages”, which is a compilation of classic melodies.
