Tournee in Argentina

On September 11 – October 9, the Representation Group together with the Band took part in a tour in Argentina. During this time, we took part in four festivals in Wheelwright, El Trébol, Crespo and Santa Fe. We had the great pleasure of visiting the Polish Embassy in Buenos Aires, meeting with Polonia both in the capital of Argentina and in Santa Fe. In addition to traditional concerts, we participated in many folklore lessons and artistic workshops in Argentine schools, talking about our folklore and Lublin, we took part in a conference dedicated to our country and we performed on local television talking about Poland while cooking Polish dishes. Everywhere we met with a warm reception of the local audience. In total, during our monthly stay we had the pleasure of presenting ourselves to the Argentine audience up to 52 times, which is probably our away record.
